🧱 How to Prepare Your Wall
A smooth and clean surface is essential for a flawless wallpaper installation. Here’s how to get your wall ready:
Step 1: Clean the Wall
Wipe the wall with a dry cloth or mild detergent to remove dust, grease, or stains.
Step 2: Fill Holes and Cracks
Use filler to cover nail holes, cracks, or uneven spots. Sand the surface until smooth.
Step 3: Remove Existing Wallpaper or Paint
Peel off old wallpaper and scrape off residue. If the wall is glossy-painted, gently sand it to help the paste adhere better.
Step 4: Let the Wall Dry Completely
Moisture can affect adhesion. Make sure the wall is completely dry before starting installation.
Bonus Tip
If your wall is newly painted, allow at least 14 days for it to fully cure before applying wallpaper.
